Marquis Mckenzie is the Founder and President of Community Outreach Enterprise a non-profit organization geared towards teaching entrepreneurship to at risk youth. Marquis is passionate about helping male youth make the right decision and be great role models in their community. In 2008, after being release from prison, he begin laying his foundation by getting involved in the community and hosting number of events giving back to the homeless community. Marquis is also a member of “No Place For A Child Coalition”, where he shared his testimony with lawmakers and families across Florida — hoping to change laws that send juveniles to adult prison.
Marquis is currently the Statewide Chapter and Leadership Coordinator for Florida Rights Restoration Coalition; who just ended a 150 years life time ban of voting fights to those convicted of a felony in the state of Florida.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his kids, helping the community, and participating in local events as a guest speaker.
